Changing user’s email address


If the email address associated with user’s profile needs to be changed, please follow these steps:

Admin changing user’s email address:

  1. Navigate to Users & Groups and open the profile of the user whose email address needs to be changed. Within the user’s profile, locate the email address field and enter the new email address.
  2. Verify request 1/2: A confirmation request will be automatically sent to the user’s old email address. The user must click the link in this email to proceed with the change.
  3. Verify request 2/2: Once the old email address is confirmed, a confirmation request will be sent to the user’s new email address. The user must also click the link in this email to finalize the change.
  4. Login with new email: After confirming both the old and new email addresses, the user can now log in to Zefort using their new email address and their existing password.

User changing their own email address:

  1. Go to My settings and change the email address
  2. Verify request 1/2: A confirmation request will be automatically sent to the user’s old email address. The user must click the link in this email to proceed with the change.
  3. Verify request 2/2: Once the old email address is confirmed, a confirmation request will be sent to the user’s new email address. The user must also click the link in this email to finalize the change.
  4. Login with new email: After confirming both the old and new email addresses, the user can now log in to Zefort using their new email address and their existing password.
Note: User’s email address can’t be changed manually for SSO users.
