Zefort is committed to making its service accessible, in accordance with the European accessibility act (EAA). This accessibility statement applies to the zefort.com website.

Accessibility status

The service is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and EN 301 549. Non-compliance with the requirements and exceptions to the requirements are listed below. 

Non-accessible content

Zefort is actively working to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and the technical requirements of EN 301 549, as referenced in the European accessibility act (EAA). The changes below are based on our July 2025 accessibility audit. More audits will follow in autumn 2025.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason: Non-compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA and EN 301 549.

Zefort Sign

  • When signing or approving, scanned files are not accessible with screen readers. Use files that originated as Word or PDF instead.

Form templates

  • In form templates, the document preview cannot be read by a screen reader; however, users can download it and open it in applications such as Word to access its content. This limitation does not affect the user’s ability to complete the form.

Recent key improvements

Zefort Forms

  • We improved error handling to meet accessibility standards by providing adequate color contrast and visible focus highlights.

Zefort Sign

  • Users navigating with a keyboard can access a ‘Skip to main content’ link at the top for faster navigation.
  • Dialogs, buttons and other elements like help text include ARIA labels for screen reader support.
  • SMS authentication now allows more time, improving the experience for everyone.
