Meet Laura, a Sales Manager with a unique starting point!

With a background in art and business, Laura hasn’t followed the most conventional route into SaaS. 

“My background is mainly from a very different kind of sales. Before joining Zefort, I was in the auction business for over 15 years,” she shares.

However, curiosity and a passion for learning led her to explore new frontiers. A fortunate encounter introduced her to Zefort, and the connection was immediate.

“The warm but professional first impression stood out,” she says.

Laura had been looking for a chance to step out of her comfort zone and learn new things. In addition, her passion for technology and shared values made it easy to decide to join Zefort.

“Ultimately, sales is about successful cooperation, people understanding and respecting each other,” Laura concludes.

The road isn’t always easy. Rejection comes with the territory, but Laura has learned to remain unfazed and focus on the value of open communication – regardless of the outcome.

“The best part of working in sales is earning trust, even when it doesn’t lead to a commercial result. There’s a clear cause-and-effect relationship between persistent, honest work and the results, and I really appreciate that,” Laura says.

Growing with purpose
